"Power Politics" by Bob Donohue
Text: Exodus 23:10-33
1. Worship, Ex. 23:9-19a
We will have wrong priorities when we forget how great His love has been toward us.
The Jewish feast calendar included:
The men were called to lead, going to Jerusalem.
Faith was required to leave fields fallow for a year, and to leave property unguarded while the men were gone.
2. War, Ex. 23:20-33
There are few greater comforts than knowing who is fighting for us. Christ is our army – a hornet by whom you do not want to be stung.
Christ is our farmer. Christ is our healthcare. Christ secures our borders.
